Who Can Attend: Therapists affiliated with member CAC’s either through employment or linkage agreements.
What to Expect: Clinical Consultation is a form of professional development which helps therapists continue to grow, learn, and adapt to challenges emerging in their practices. It is a collaborative, voluntary model, facilitated by an experienced therapist, but it also provides a setting in which peers can share ideas, and offer support and feedback to one another.
Format: A video-conference technology readily accessible through a stable internet connection.
Facilitator: Melissa Box, LCSW, LSOE, LSOTP is a licensed mental health practitioner and family therapist. Melissa is the Clinical Director at ABC Counseling & Family Services in Normal, IL. She supervises 23 staff at her agency and manages the clinical therapy program across 6 regional offices. She is also responsible for developing and implementing continuing education programs.
Documentation: Certificates will be provided after each session for proof of attendance. A follow up email will be sent to those in attendance with a confidentially conscious recap of the meeting, and relevant resources.
Cost and Sign Up: This program is free and is supported by the NCA statewide program funds.
