The Trauma-informed Prosecutor Project (TiPP), a program of the Zero Abuse Project, is offering the STARK Prosecutor Symposium. This symposium will be a three-day conference for rural prosecutors and their respective MDT on technology-facilitated crimes against children. The first day will include the following topics; Internet 101, Digital Forensics 101, Child Exploitation Investigations 101, Admissibility of Social Media and Digital Evidence. The second day of the symposium will have an experiential component in which attendees will attempt to admit various digital evidence in the face of defense objections. It will also include the following topics; Cross-Examination of the Digital Forensics Defense Expert, and Direct Examination of the Digital Forensics Examiner. The third day will include the following topics; Leveraging Medical Experts and Evidence in Child Exploitation Cases, Trauma-Informed Approaches to Victims of Technology-Facilitated Abuse

Attendees are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel reservations provided here.
