This is an informational webinar open to all CAC staff and MDT members.  The presentation will focus on educating the participants about the COVID-19 vaccine and will have a Q and A format to address the concerns around receiving the vaccine.

 

 

 

Joseph Kurland, MPH, CIC, is a certified infection preventionist at Children's Minnesota with responsibility for developing policies, protocols, and providing education on best practices to prevent the spread of infectious diseases among staff, patients, and visitors. He primarily works with Children's ambulatory clinics, but also works closely with the central processing department as well as the facilities and engineering staff. Joe is currently the Emerging Infections Committee chair for the Minnesota chapter of APIC, the professional organization for infection preventionists. Joe earned his master’s degree in public health at the University of Minnesota and has worked as an epidemiologist at the Minnesota Department of Health and as an emergency department technician at Regions Hospital Level 1 ED in St. Paul, Minnesota.
