Join Myra Strand for a four part virtual DEI series that provides you the knowledge and skills to apply DEI principles to your work! This third session is engaging real life case studies to think about how we apply DEI principles and knowledge to our hands on work with children. It is required to attend the first session virtually or watch the recording before being able to attend any of the following sessions.
Myra Strand, Owner, Strand2 Squared Solutions: With a career in trauma work that began in 1995, Myra has extensive experience supporting various populations. This includes working with youth facing complex trauma and serious mental illness, individuals with developmental disabilities, teenagers affected by war, and victims of crime, particularly those escaping domestic violence and adolescents in correctional facilities. Myra is nationally recognized for providing comprehensive trauma-informed support to individuals and organizations affected by crime and crisis. Her transformative approach focuses on helping victims, witnesses, and survivors overcome trauma.
