Central Standard Time
Description
This consultation group meets the National Children’s Alliance Standards requirement for the Mental Health Standard I, which mandates professional supervision for all clinicians providing treatment to children.
Who Can Attend: Mental Health providers affiliated with member CAC’s either through employment or linkage agreements.
What to Expect: Clinical Consultation is a form of professional development which helps therapists continue to grow, learn, and adapt to challenges emerging in their practices. It is a collaborative, voluntary model, facilitated by an experienced therapist, but it also provides a setting in which peers can share ideas, and offer support and feedback to one another.
Facilitator: Chaz Franke has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from McKendree University, and a Masters of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University (SLU). Chaz received his clinical license in 2009 and is the owner of Light Source, LLC, a private practice in Belleville, Illinois. Chaz has been practicing full time since 2007. Since the beginning of his career as a therapist, Chaz has worked with trauma and its long reaching effects. This work has included extensive work with all ages and all walks of life. Chaz specializes in psychodynamics, self-compassion, and integrating Eastern thought and philosophy into the therapeutic process. Chaz is also currently employed as a faculty member in the Masters in Social Work program at Saint Louis University.
Documentation: Certificates will be provided after each session for proof of attendance. A follow up email will be sent to those in attendance with a confidentially conscious recap of the meeting, and relevant resources.
Cost and Registration: This program is free and is supported by the NCA statewide program funds. Attendees must register via Coalition Manager in order to receive the Zoom link and certificate of attendance following each session.
