X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<html><h3>This consultation group meets the National Children&rsquo;s Alliance Standards requirement for the Mental Health Standard I, which mandates professional supervision for all clinicians providing treatment to children. &nbsp;</h3><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Who Can Attend</strong>:&nbsp; Therapists affiliated with member CAC&rsquo;s either through employment or linkage agreements. &nbsp; &nbsp; </p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>What to Expect:</strong>&nbsp; Clinical Consultation is a form of professional development which helps therapists continue to grow, learn, and adapt to challenges emerging in their practices. It is a collaborative, voluntary model, facilitated by an experienced therapist, but it also provides a setting in which peers can share ideas, and offer support and feedback to one another.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Format:</strong>&nbsp; A video-conference technology readily accessible through a stable internet connection.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Facilitator:&nbsp;</strong>Sharon Klingman is a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been working in the mental health field since 1984. Her experience includes working inpatient and outpatient substance abuse and &nbsp;mental health as a provider and administrator. For the past 20 years she has also served as outpatient senior therapist for the McLean County Children&rsquo;s Advocacy Center in Bloomington , IL. Sharon is newly retired from the CAC and currently working at Carle Healthcare in outpatient Behavioral Health. Sharon is certified in TF-CBT but is open to and uses many styles of therapy with child victims and &nbsp;NOC&rsquo;s depending on the individual situation and needs. Her goal as clinical supervisor is to create a safe space for clinicians to share their experiences and grow as therapists from honest and open feedback from all group members, herself included. </p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Documentation:</strong>&nbsp; Certificates will be provided after each session for proof of attendance. A follow up email will be sent to those in attendance with a confidentially conscious recap of the meeting, and relevant resources.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Cost and Sign Up:&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp;This program is free and is supported by the NCA statewide program funds. &nbsp;<br /></p></html>
